For our features we begin with post distortion as an alternative to predistortion in power amplifiers. Learn about the advantages and disadvantages. Then CMOS has taken over and low noise CMOS seemed like an oxymoron compared to GaAs amplifiers in the past but this article will give you a great tour of CMOS low noise amplifiers. Our third feature covers an old topic made more relevant by advances in AI – optimization of circuit design. Check out the evolution of this important tool. Finally, we have a feature on backscatter. This is not just for radar people. Check it out.
Our column tour should begin with the President’s Column. Learn about our ADCOM and its history. Our society does a lot to educate its members.
