Call for Mentors & Mentees Worldwide — Join the IEEE MTT-S Global Online 1:1 Mentorship Program!

The IEEE MTT-S Mentor–Mentee Initiative is a global online program designed to connect students, young professionals, researchers, and experienced professionals across the microwave community.

The program combines technical mentorship with professional and personal development, helping participants build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to succeed in the microwave community and beyond.

What the program offers:

  • Global 1:1 mentoring: Connect with mentors and mentees from different IEEE regions, universities, research groups, and industries.
  • Technical mentoring: Receive guidance on MTT-S-related technologies, research, academic pathways, education, training, and industry applications.
  • Non-technical mentoring: Strengthen workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability.
  • Career and research guidance: Explore opportunities related to graduate studies, research collaborations, professional transitions, workplace challenges, and career planning.
  • Choose a mentor based on your needs: Students and Young Professionals can connect with multiple mentors according to their interests, career goals, research topics, and professional challenges.
  • Flexible participation: Mentoring relationships can be tailored to participant availability and may run from 3 to 12 months.
  • Resources to get started: Guidance documents and community resources are available to support a productive and meaningful mentoring experience.
