Mission Statement

The RFID Technical Committee of the MTT-S promotes activities related to RFID technology, science and applications. That includes the theory, modeling, integration with sensors and power scavengers, low-cost prototyping, experimental verification and state-of-the-art of RFID’s. The committee aims in increasing the exposure and vitality of the RFID community within MTT-S. It develops and sponsors high-quality special issues in MTT-S journals and special sessions and workshops within IMS and other MTT-S conferences, develops tutorials and short courses and identifies critical areas in RFID technologies making recommendations to the MTT-S Standards Coordinating Committee.
