We are delighted to announce that Professor Anding Zhu has been elected as President-Elect of IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) for 2025 at the AdCom election held in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, on September 29, 2024. He will serve as President in 2026.

Anding Zhu received the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland, in 2004. He is currently a Professor with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at UCD. His research interests include high-frequency nonlinear system modeling and device characterization techniques, high-efficiency power amplifier design, and nonlinear system identification algorithms. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed journal and conference articles.

Professor Zhu is an IEEE Fellow. He served as the Secretary of MTT-S AdCom in 2018 and has been an Elected Member of MTT-S AdCom since 2019. He is currently the Chair of the Technical Coordination and Future Directions Committee (TCFDC). Professor Zhu also served as the Chair of MTT-S Microwave High-Power Techniques Committee (TC-12) from 2020 to 2021 and a Member of IEEE Future Directions Committee from 2020 to 2022. He received the IEEE MTT-S Microwave Prize in 2021 and the IEEE Microwave Magazine Best Paper Award in 2024. He served as a Track Editor of IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques from 2020 to 2022 and he is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE Microwave Magazine.
