The THz Best Paper Prize recognizes the author(s) of the paper, published in IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology during a calendar year, that is judged to be the most significant contribution in the field of interest of the THz community.

AWARD AND NOMINATION DESCRIPTION

Description: This award will recognize the best paper published in the IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science & Technology in the year preceding the award.

Prize: $1,000 and a plaque. Multiple authors will receive plaques, and their cash award determined by formula.

Eligibility: All papers published in the IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science & Technology in the year prior to deliberation.

Selection committee: The winner is decided by an independent committee of experts. The committee members are selected yearly by the MTT society without involvement of the editorial board

Basis for Judging: Technical excellence, importance of the contribution, and presentation will be the fundamental bases for evaluation.
