Biography

Ki R. Shin (S’09-M’15-SM’25) received the B.S. degree in 2004, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering in 2014. His professional experience encompasses RF system engineering, graduate research, and RF design engineering with a focus on integrated passive devices, front-end modules, transmission lines, and custom foundry operations. Furthermore, his background includes academic teaching within physics and engineering departments and the development of advanced RF design solutions.

His research interests include integrated circuits, microwave resonators and filters, silicon/glass integrated passive devices, high-power waveguide/cavity devices, transmission lines, and RF module/laminate systems. He is a member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society, the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, and the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society.
