Biography

Jacquelyn A. Vitaz (S’08–M’11-SM’19) received the B.S. degrees in electrical engineering and physics from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA in May 2001 and January 2002 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, MI, in May 2005 and May 2011. She has worked at Raytheon since 2001, where she is currently a senior engineering fellow working within the Advanced Technology division in Tewksbury, MA.
Dr. Vitaz has served as the chair of the Boston Chapter of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S), steering and review committees for various technical organizations including MILCOM and IEEE IMS. Her research interests include design, integration and test of advanced RF components and algorithms for novel phased array sensors, system architectures, and associated EM phenomenology.
