The WIM Special Session in APMC 2024: Prestigious Moments With Distinguished Women in Microwave
The MTT-S Indonesia Section held a successful Women in Microwaves (WIM) event at the Asia–Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC) 2024 in Bali. The attendees came to the APMC event from 38 countries worldwide. The WIM session was one of several APMC events, including the Young Professional and InterSociety Technology Panel (ISTP) events. The WIM event was held on 18 November at the Anvaya Hotel with four distinguished women speakers from Asian countries. The event was about two hours in the afternoon Central Indonesia Time.
This WIM moment was the first event in Indonesia. The MTT-S organized the event in cooperation with the APMC committee. In our May 2025 column, the organizers share the highlights and recaps from this milestone event.
