Beyond Automation: The Emerging Role of AI in RF and Microwave Design
Webinar Overview:
Join us for a free webinar on how agentic artificial intelligence and advanced multi-fabric workflows are reshaping RF and microwave design. Practicing engineers will learn where AI can deliver practical value today and how Cadence JedAI (Joint Enterprise Data and AI Platform) provides an infrastructure for unifying data across the chips-to-systems design flow—including RTL, netlists, layouts, waveforms, analysis reports, runtime metadata, and verification coverage—to support engineering productivity gains of 3×–5×.
Leveraging advanced computational software for electronic design automation, you will see how AI-assisted methods complement proven simulation engines across circuit, electromagnetic, and system-level design. Learn how super AI agent orchestration can reduce repetitive design and simulation setup, navigate complex interplatform design workflows for developing multi-fabric systems, interpret results, and keep engineering judgment and verification at the center of the design process.
What You Will Learn:
This overview will explain how AI-enabled RF and microwave workflows can help you:
- Identify practical applications for AI-powered optimization and conversational assistance in RF design.
- Explore how natural-language assistance can combine design context with proven simulation engines.
- Apply AI-assisted methods to simulation troubleshooting, optimization guidance, and automated testbench configuration.
- Use behavioral model generation to support efficient system-level analysis.
- Understand how emerging RF agents may connect SAW/BAW, III-V and silicon RFIC/MMIC module workflows across multiple design fabrics.
- Learn how mental models extract IP-protected information from documents and existing designs to provide more efficient guidance for agent-assisted operations.
- Evaluate AI-generated guidance through engineering judgment, domain expertise, and rigorous verification.
