Ten Years On: IEEE MTT-S Chengdu Chapter Keeps Weigan Lin’s Legacy Alive
IEEE MTT-S Chengdu Chapter is the first to be featured from the IEEE Region 10!
A new generation of Chinese microwave engineers is growing up both in the shadow and in the light of Prof. Weigan Lin. The year 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Lin’s passing. To celebrate his life, the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) Chengdu Chapter has mounted a yearlong program that links remembrance with prospective education and outreach and generations of engineers in Ecuador.
