Biography

Xingyu Du is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2025, where he was awarded the Joseph D’16 and Rosaline Wolf Award for Best Ph.D. Dissertation, as well as the Outstanding Teaching Award. He earned his B.S., with honors, in Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering from National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, in 2019, and his M.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021.
His research focuses on RF filters, acoustic wave devices, piezoelectric devices, MEMS, spin wave devices, and magnetic materials for RF applications. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for Microsystem Technologies.
