Biography
Dr. Sulekha Chattopadhyay is a Fulbright Specialist an IEEE Senior Member, and Vice-Chair of Microwave Technologies for Sustainability Committee (Ad Hoc). As a senior engineer for the California Environmental Protection Agency, she is passionate about translating engineering innovations into policies and solutions that support healthy, sustainable communities in California. Her work in RF technologies spans diverse applications, including planetary monitoring, wireless power transfer, energy harvesting, and sustainable sensors. As Co-Chair of the “Ask Us Anything” initiative, she is equally committed to fostering an open, inclusive, and safe peer-to-peer conversational forum for people at every stage of their careers from students and early-career professionals to experienced practitioners. In particular, she is passionate about inspiring young girls around the world to pursue STEM, empowering them recognize their potential and build the future they envision.
