Biography
Russell H. Kenney (S’18 – M’24) received the B.S. degree (Hons.) in computer engineering, the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering, and Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, USA, in 2019, 2020 and 2024, respectively. His current research interests include synthetic aperture radar, navigation and synchronization techniques for distributed radar networks, radar signal processing, and passive and frequency-agile microwave component design.
From 2019 to 2024, he was a Graduate Research Assistant with the University of Oklahoma and the Advanced Radar Research Center (ARRC). He is currently an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma and a member of the ARRC. He is a member of IEEE, Eta Kappa Nu, and Tau Beta Pi.
Dr. Kenney was the recipient of several awards, including the University of Oklahoma Dolese Teaching Fellowship. He was also the winner of the 2019 IEEE R5 Student Paper Competition at the local and area levels and was the runner-up at the regional level. In 2021, he was awarded the prestigious DoD NDSEG Fellowship.
