Biography

Dr. Rachel Jarvis received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and the M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Oklahoma in 2020, 2021, and 2024, respectively. In 2024, she began her current position as an Assistant Professor / Assistant Scientist at the University of Kansas in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. Dr. Jarvis has several refereed journal publications and conference papers focusing on efficient and wideband radar cross section measurements, adaptive clutter suppression for enhanced dynamic range, and radar system design for wave propagation through inhomogeneous media.

Dr. Jarvis is currently serving as the Interactive Forum Chair of the RFSA 2027 Steering Committee and an affiliate member of the MTT-S technical committee 24 (TC-24) focused on “Microwave/mm-wave Radar, Sensing, and Array Systems.”
