Biography
Jasmin Gabsteiger studied Electrical and Information Engineering at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, specializing in high-frequency engineering. There she worked as a research associate and focused her research on radar technology, high-frequency components, and additive manufacturing.
In January 2026, she earned her doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) with distinction from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg at the Chair of Integrated Electronic Systems and has since been working there as a research group leader. In her dissertation, she developed a SISO-FMCW radar system with additively manufactured, frequency-scanning leaky-wave antennas for angle estimation.
Her research focuses on innovative, resource-constrained radar systems, the additive manufacturing of high-frequency structures, and applications in contactless vital parameter sensing and in dynamic systems.
