Han Zhou

Han Zhou received the B.Sc. degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2016, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, in 2018 and 2023, respectively. In 2022, he was a visiting researcher with the IDEAS group at ETH Zurich. From 2024 to 2025, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology.

He is currently an Assistant Professor at Tampere University, Finland, where he leads the Tampere Integrated Microelectronics and Systems (TIMES) Group. His research interests include AI-driven design and synthesis of RF circuits and systems; high-efficiency, wideband, and linear power amplifier architectures; RF and mm-wave integrated circuits for wireless communications; and cryogenic RF circuits for quantum-computing readout. Dr. Zhou received the IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship in 2023 and the Young Engineer Prize at the European Microwave Conference in 2022. He is an affiliated member of the IEEE MTT-S TC-2 Technical Committee on Design Automation.
