IEEE MTT-S IMPACT — Internship Program for Microwave Advancement, Collaboration & Technology
IEEE MTT-S IMPACT is a 8 to 16 weeks technical internship and mentorship initiative that connects undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students with experienced IEEE MTT-S professionals for microwave and RF engineering projects.
Selected student teams receive USD $500 in funding, usable for prototype fabrication, travel support, conference registration, components and materials, or other approved project expenses, and work directly with a dedicated IEEE MTT-S Professional Member Mentor. At the end of the program, teams present and showcase their completed technical mini-projects at an IEEE MTT-S sponsored conference.
Who can apply
Applicants must be IEEE MTT-S Student Members (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) who have identified an IEEE MTT-S Professional Member to serve as their mentor and obtained their consent.
