Biography
Dr. Nosherwan Shoaib received the PhD degree in RF & microwave measurements from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Afterwards, he served two terms as post-doctoral research fellow at National Institute of Metrological Research – INRIM, Italy and Khalifa University of Science and Technology, United Arab Emirates (UAE). He joined School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (SEECS) at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad in 2016. As an Associate Professor, he teaches RF & microwave related courses to Electrical Engineering students. His current research interests include RF metrology, design & development of 5G MIMO antennas, intelligent metasurfaces, RF energy harvesting, Internet of Things (IoT), and microwave active circuits. Dr. Shoaib contributed to three patents, one book, one book chapter and more than 90 leading international technical journal, peer reviewed conference papers and technical reports. He was awarded research grants worth above 50 Million PKR from Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.
