We will be sharing information about Microwave Research Labs across the globe. Please visit MTT-S page on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/IEEEMTT/. Here are some examples:

Prof. Tatsuo Itoh’s Lab:

Serene and soft-spoken, one would not, at first glance, assume that Tatsuo Itoh, distinguished professor and the Northrop Grumman Chair in Electrical Engineering at UCLA Engineering Samueli, is known as “Dragonman.” With over 50 years of theoretical and technological innovations, Tatsuo Itoh is among the most famous and respected experts in electromagnetics and microwave techniques. His lab at UCLA known as Microwave Electronics Lab has produced some of the best minds in the field of Microwaves.

Prof. Ke Wu’s Lab:

Prof. Ke Wu is a professor of Electrical Engineering at the Ecole Polytechnique (University of Montreal), and Tier-I Canada Research Chair in Radio-Frequency (RF) and Millimetre-Wave Engineering. He is Director of the Poly-Grames Research Center, and the Founding Director of a Canadian university-industry consortium called Facility for Advanced Millimetre-wave Engineering (FAME) and the Center for Radiofrequency Electronics Research of Quebec (or Centre de recherche en électronique radiofréquence (CREER) – a strategic alliance of Québec).

Prof. Thomas Lee’s Lab:

Stanford Microwave Integrated Circuits Laboratory headed by Professor Thomas Lee’s focuses on areas including analog circuitry of all types, ranging from low-level DC instrumentation to high-speed RF communications systems. His present research focus is on CMOS RF integrated circuit design, and on extending operation into the terahertz realm.

Prof. Anantha P. Chandrakasan’s Lab:

Microsystems Technology Laboratories (MTL) in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is headed by Anantha P. Chandrakasan. MTL encompasses research and education in micro- and nano-systems, with an intellectual core of semiconductor process and device technology, and integrated circuits and systems design.
