Towards a Faster Development of Superconducting Quantum Systems Using Electronic Design Automation
Abstract
Systematic electronic design automation techniques accelerate the development of superconducting quantum systems iteratively through a workflow from requirements definition to implementation and integration. A concept of a unified electronic design automation (EDA) platform is described that incorpores layout considerations, EM modeling, circuit simulation and system design automation functions with essential high level statements for requirements and objectives for each. Such a unified platform is essential to streamline design and reduce development costs to fine-tune chips and expedite market readiness.
