Device
65-nm CMOS 4TX–4RX phased array transceiver with automatic beam steering
Spectrum
24 GHz
Novelty
Automatic beam steering for wide field of view (FOV) and efficient clutter rejection is achieved with a configurable beam scanning generator (BSG) and frequency sweep generator (FSG) architecture. By combining the fast chirp generation sequence and the beam steering sequence, the transceiver can automatically steer the beam for each FMCW waveform.
Application
FMCW Radar
Performance
10.6 dBm TX output power, ±50° beam steering 105 dB receiver gain, 13.5 dB noise figure (NF)
