Women in Microwaves Virtual Meet-Up March 2021

This month, the Women in Microwaves Committee kicked off a new virtual event called “Virtual Meet-Ups.” The intent is to offer these quarterly in Regions1-6 as well as adopt globally before too long.

Virtual Meet-Ups
Our goals for offering WIM Virtual Meet-Ups include:
● Grow our community of members
● Better engage with and increase our network and connections
● Increase WIM awareness and inform the MTT-S community about our efforts

We recently held our debut Virtual Meet-Up on Monday, March 8 th 2021, in honor International Women’s Day, and it featured Dr. Debabani Choudhury of Intel Labs. During this 30-minute virtual discussion session, Dr. Debabani shared highlights (and lowlights) of her career journey from college through to industry and the important role mentors, friends, and colleagues have played in her life.
