Statement
We are committed to fostering student engagement through active membership, revitalizing and establishing new chapters, and a diverse range of activities. By encouraging students to take ownership of their involvement, we seek to reinforce IEEE MTT-S’s sense of community, leadership, and purpose. Whether it’s supporting new chapters, connecting members, identifying opportunities, or participating in collaborative events, students are empowered to shape their experience and make a positive impact on society.
Goals
The committee aims to drive further engagement, new chapters, and activities and share and expand the successful actions of regional coordinators and committee chairs to others, making them global.
Engagement
Through motivation and expertise, SES is thriving to engage and support our members by
- encouraging coordinator presentations/ visits to local chapters and industries,
- encouraging the chapter chairs’ presentations/ visits to other chapters and industries,
- encouraging participation in activities, competitions (SDC, SPC), events (volunteer),
- supporting professionals’ experience through DIW, DML, DMI, YP outstanding lectures, SB, Webinars, supporting hands-on using MTT-S material tools (nanoVNA, RF kit), goodies, and TTBB,
- and providing guidelines for creating chapters, workshops, events, services, and the use of vTools and OU Analytics
SES Members


SES Committee Travel
SES members may apply for assistance to cover expenses for visits to local universities and companies interested in forming chapters. The SES member or his/her delegate must request travel authorization in advance using the form available at the link. The applicant must include personal information and a description of the trip and, in the case of a delegate, add the name of the SES member in the comments. Following the visit, a report must be sent to the SES member and the committee chair.
