Biography
Prof. Dr. Xiaojun Wu is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Beihang University, Humboldt Scholar in Germany, Optica Fellow, and Young Scholar of Beijing. She mainly engages in research on the radiation theory, key technologies, and applications of high – energy and strong – field terahertz light sources and applications. She has published more than 80 papers as the first author or corresponding author in SCI – indexed journals such as Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, and Advanced Materials. She has given more than 40 invited talks at important domestic and international academic conferences. She has won honors and awards such as the first Zhengyi Wang Award of the International Society for Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves, the first Global Female Scientist Award in Ultrafast Science, the first – class award of the China Science and Technology Youth Forum, and the highest award of the general forum, the “Science and Technology Rising Star Award”, and so on.
