Biography
Venkata Gadde (Senior Member, IEEE) is an RF Systems Engineering Manager in Apple’s Hardware Technologies group, where he leads RF system integration and validation of silicon into Apple products. He has over 16 years of industry experience in analog and RF IC design, RF systems and SoC integration, and silicon validation, with expertise in cellular and wireless connectivity technologies. Prior to joining Apple in 2013, he was with Broadcom, where he received the 2012 Broadcom President’s Award for contributions to RF front-end design for satellite ODU applications.
He has been active in the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) since 2020 and has served the IEEE MTT-S Santa Clara Valley / San Francisco Joint Chapter as Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair. Under his leadership, the chapter received the 2025 Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award from both the IEEE Santa Clara Valley Section and IEEE Region 6. He also served on the IMS2025 Executive Committee as MP3 Co-Chair for the symposium held in San Francisco and as liaison to the Hard Tech Venture Summit. He was elevated to IEEE Senior Member in 2022 and received the 2025 IEEE Santa Clara Valley Section Chair Special Award for chapter leadership.
He received the B.E. (Hons.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India, in 2005, and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA, in 2009. He is currently an Executive MBA candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, with expected graduation in June 2026.
