Biography
Valentyn Solomko received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (Hons.) from the National Technical University of Ukraine in Kyiv, and the Ph.D. degree (summa cum laude) from the Brandenburg University of Technology. From 2009 to 2012, he was with GE Global Research, Munich, where he was focusing on integrated and discrete electronic solutions for aviation, medical, and industrial applications. He is currently a technical lead for antenna tuning products at Infineon Technologies AG, Munich.
Dr. Solomko was lecturing selected topics of the course “RF Microelectronics” with the Brandenburg University of Technology, and from 2014 he is a visiting lecturer with the University of German Federal Armed Forces, lecturing a course on analog integrated circuit design. In 2021–2022 he was serving as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques.
