Biography

Tommaso Cappello (Member, IEEE) received the Laurea and the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. From 2017 to 2019, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Microwave and RF Research Group, University of Colorado Boulder, Boulder, CO, USA. In 2020, he was a Lecturer of electrical and communication engineering with the University of Bristol, Bristol, U.K. He was the recipient of the New Investigator Award from UKRI Research Council. He is currently Assistant Professor of RF and microwave engineering with Villanova University, Villanova, PA, USA. His research interests include the design, characterization, and modelling of RF/microwave/power electronic circuits for efficient and linear transmitters.
