Biography
Tim Talty is currently a Technical Fellow at General Motors Research and Development, in Warren Michigan. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Prior positions included Group Manager HMI & Infotainment at GM, Supervisor for Radios and Antennas at Ford Motor Company and Assistant Professor at The United States Military Academy, West Point. His current areas of interest are Infortainment, Telematics and wireless communication technologies. In his current role, Tim provides the technical leadership of the development of advanced wireless technologies for automotive use cases. Technologies include both inter-vehicle wireless for connected vehicle (telematics and infotainment) and intra-vehicle for vehicle architecture/wireless sensor networks.
