Biography
Ryo Sakamaki received ME degrees in material engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2009 and the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan in 2010, respectively. He received his PhD in material engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 2019. In 2010, he joined Fujikura (Tokyo, Japan), where he worked on the research and development of metal casting, annealing, and working processes. In 2014, he joined the National Metrology Institute of Japan, National Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (Tsukuba, Japan) as a research scientist. In 2023, he joined the Hiroshima University (Higashi-Hiroshima, Japan) as an associate professor. His work involves the development of S-parameter measurement techniques from radio to submillimeter frequencies.
