Biography
Rod Kim (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, CA, USA. He developed CMOS-based low-noise sensors and communication systems with Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Keyssa, U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), and Stevens Institute of Technology. He is currently an Associate Professor with the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Amherst, MA, USA, and a Research Associate with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, MD, USA. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques.
