Biography
Randolf Ebelt was born in Oranienburg, Germany, in 1983. He received the Dipl.-Ing. degree
in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Clausthal, Clausthal–Zellerfeld, Germany,
in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Microwaves and Photonics, University of Erlangen–Nuremberg, Erlangen, Germany, in 2014. From 2011 to 2015, he has been with the Institute of Microwaves and Photonics, University of Erlangen–Nuremberg. Afterwards, he was a project manager at Smartmicro GmbH, developing automotive radar sensors. Currently, he is a Radar Sensor Scientist for Autonomous Driving at BMW Group / Munich. His main research interests are sensor networks with distributed high-precision localization capabilities and sensor fusion algorithms.
