Biography
Dr. Rajan Agrahari is an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology Patna, Bihar, India. Before Joining NIT Patna, he worked as a Postdoc Fellow at the International Research Centre for Nanophotonics and Metamaterials, ITMO University, St. Petersburg, Russia in 2020. He completed his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi in the field of Microwave Engineering in 2020. He was also appointed as an Adjunct Research Assistant in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Pennsylvania State University, USA in 2017.
His current areas of research include nanophotonics, computational electromagnetics, and metamaterials. His research paper has been published in several reputed journals. He also holds four granted patents and one book Chapter. He is the reviewer of many journals including IEEE Sensors Journal, IEEE Transactions on Antennas & Propagation, IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology, Journal of Applied Physics, AIP Advances, Applied Physics Letters, and Microwave and Optical Technology Letters.
He is a faculty advisor of the IEEE MTT-S Student Branch Chapter of NIT Patna. He is also the ambassador of the IEEE MTT-S Society and an affiliated member of the TC-1 Field Theory and Computational EM Committee.
