Biography

Mohammad Abdolrazzaghi (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2009, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2017. He was the Electromagnetic Modeling Lead with Phase Advances Sensors Corporation, Edmonton (2019-2020). He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada.

His current research interests include Mixed-Signal IC-Design, Neuroelectronics, Wireless Power Transfer, RF design, Metamaterial, Biosensors, and Machine Learning.

Mr. Abdolrazzaghi was a recipient of the Alberta Innovates Technology Futures (AITF) Scholarship from the University of Alberta in 2015 and the CMC Microsystem’s National Research Council Industrial Collaboration Award (First Place) in 2015 and (Second Place) in 2017. In 2017, he was also a recipient of the Best Graduate Student Teaching Award from the University of Alberta. He received the Ontario Graduate Students Scholarship in 2021 and Postgraduate Scholarship-Doctoral (PGS D) from NSERC (2022), Walter C. Sumner Memorial Fellowship (2025), Donald R. Studney Electromagnetics Graduate Award (2025), and became a winner of the 3MT Competition at the IMS2024 Conference. He also serves as an Invited Reviewer for several journals, including IEEE -TBioCAS, -TCAS:I, -TMTT, -TIM, -TAP, JAP, IEEE Sensors Journal, and Energy Materials.
