Biography
Mauricio Pinto (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Boulder, CO, USA, in 2019. From 2010 to 2014, he was with the Weapons Division, Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake, CA, USA, where he was involved in RF front ends for airborne and landbased defense systems. From 2019 to 2021, he was with Raytheon Technologies, El Segundo, CA, USA, as a Principal Electrical Engineer working on T/R modules for phased array radar systems. In 2021, he joined the Infrastructure and Defense Products Business Unit, Qorvo, Inc., Richardson, TX, USA, where he is currently a Senior MMIC Design Engineer working on gallium-nitride MMIC products. Dr. Pinto was the recipient of the Branko Popovic Graduate Fellowship of applied electromagnetics at the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, University of Colorado Boulder, in May 2018.
