Biography
Maryam Ali received her BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology and Auburn University respectively, and her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. She was a postdoctoral scholar at University of California, Davis. Her research background is in cell-surface interactions and ocular diseases.
In 2020, she completed a certificate in Medical Writing at the University of California, San Diego Extension. In addition to serving as Assistant Editor of the IEEE Journal of Microwaves, she is a Medical writer at Medtronic.
Dr. Ali is a member of the American Medical Writers Association.
