Biography
Maede Chavoshi received her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Communications) from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, in 2016, and her M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Micro and Nano-Electronic Devices) from the University of Tehran, Iran, in 2019. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical Engineering at KU Leuven, Belgium, where she focuses on microwave sensing and heating technologies for biological material characterization and biomedical applications.
Maede has been involved in research on microwave-microfluidic integration and material characterization, with an interest in exploring biomedical applications of microwave technologies. She has contributed to the professional community by serving as the Local Arrangement Co-Chair and Publication Co-Chair for the International Microwave Biomedical Conference (IMBioC) in 2023 and as the Publication Co-Chair in IMBioC 2024. Additionally, she served as the Chair of the IEEE AP/COM/MTT Student Branch Chapter at KU Leuven. She is an affiliate member of the IEEE MTT-S Technical Committee 28 (Biological Effects and Medical Applications), a member of Women in Microwaves, and an MTT-S Student Ambassador.
