Biography

Kevin S. Chuang (Senior Member, IEEE) is a Technology Leader at Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) in Wilmington, MA, where he spearheads radio technology innovations and development for 6G wireless communications at the intersection of RF systems and signal processing. He also leads the wireless standards activities for ATIS/Next G Alliance and 3GPP. Prior to joining ADI, he co-founded NanoSemi, Inc., a spin-off from the MIT and MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where he contributed to the development of wideband linearization systems from concept to product launch, which was subsequently acquired by MaxLinear in 2020. Previously, he held wireless systems design and RF/mixed-signal integrated circuits and systems design positions at Wafer LLC, MIT Lincoln Laboratory and Samsung Electro-Mechanics in Beverly MA, Lexington MA, and Atlanta GA, respectively. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB), Santa Barbara, CA, USA, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Eta Kappa Nu, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He was also the Finance Chair of the 2023 IEEE International Microwave Symposium (IMS), General Chairman of the 2022 IEEE Radio and Wireless Week (RWW), and a recipient of the 2007 Joseph J. Sayovitz Scholarship for outstanding achievement in electrical engineering at UCSB. He currently serves on the Steering Committee of the IEEE RWW, IEEE MTT-S Boston Section, and IEEE IMS. He holds over 20 U.S. Patents and 20 IEEE publications.
