Biography
Keerthipriya Sathish is a Scientist in the Electronics engineering group of Raman Research Institute, specialising in RF and Microwave engineering. She earned her M.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) in 2019, and in 2020, she joined the Raman Research Institute (RRI). She is simultaneously pursuing her Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science. Her work focuses on the design and development of high-sensitivity antennas and radiometers for applications in astronomy and cosmology. She has played a key role in the development of Analog and RF systems for both ground-based and space-based experiments. At present, her research is focused on the design of high-sensitivity radiometers with a particular emphasis on novel antenna designs, advanced antenna analysis techniques, RF system design, cryogenic systems, and high-precision calibration strategies. As an IEEE volunteer since 2013, starting in her undergraduate years, she served as an executive committee member of the IIST student branch chapter, helping organize numerous student-focused events at regional levels and national/international conferences. She has also served as Treasurer and Executive Member of the IEEE AP/MTT Bangalore Chapter in 2021–2022, focusing on Young Professionals, Women in Engineering, and student initiatives. A dedicated YP volunteer, she regularly coordinates YP events at Indian Antenna and microwave conferences and currently holds an executive member position in the Bangalore Section AP/MTT for 2026.
