Biography

Kamala Raghavan Sadagopan received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR, USA, in 2020.

From 2020 to 2021, she was an Analog Design Engineer with Kilby Labs, Texas Instruments, Santa Clara, CA, USA, where she worked on high-efficiency power management-integrated circuits. In 2021, she joined Qualcomm Inc., San Diego, CA, USA, as an RFIC Design Engineer. Her research interests include RF and millimeter-wave transceiver design, low-power wireless transceivers, and wireless energy harvesting.

Dr. Sadagopan was a recipient of the Analog Devices Outstanding Student Designer Award in 2018 and the IEEE SSCS Predoctoral Achievement Award in 2019. She was recognized as an IEEE SSCS Rising Star in 2020. She has served as the Chair for the IEEE SSCS Student Chapter at Oregon State University from 2018 to 2020. She serves as the 2023-2024 IEEE San Diego Young Professionals Chair. She has also served as a Reviewer for the various IEEE journals and conferences.
