John Atherton

John Atherton is currently Senior Director, Engineering at MACOM, based in Lowell, USA where he manages the modeling and PDK group. He has held a range of engineering, management and commercial roles at MACOM, Filtronic and WIN Semiconductors in his career. He has been involved in III-V semiconductor technology and product development, transistor design and Process Design Kit creation for a range of GaAs and GaN process technologies. He graduated with BEng and PhD degrees in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Leeds, Leeds, UK.
