Biography

George A. Zdasiuk (S’79-M’81) received the BSc. degree in engineering science and the M.Sc. degree in physics from the University of Toronto in 1974 and 1975, respectively. He subsequently received the Ph.D. degree in applied physics from Stanford University in 1981. His thesis research was in the area of quantum electronics. In 1980, he joined the Varian Associates Solid State Laboratory. He ha5 been involved in the development of submicron GaAs FET devices, microwave characterization techniques, and the design and fabrication.
