Bishnu Patra

Bishnu Patra received both a MS and a PhD degree in electrical engineering (microelectronics) from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands—in 2016 and 2021, respectively. Dr. Patra took a position working as a research scientist at Intel Labs in Hillsboro, Oregon in 2021, where he still works. He has co-authored more than 20 technical articles, and his current research interests include radio frequency integrated circuits and cryogenic electronics for quantum computing applications.

Dr. Patra was a co-recipient of 2022 IEEE CICC Best Paper Award, 2020 IEEE ISSCC Jan Van Vessem Award for Outstanding European Paper, and 2019-20 IEEE SSCS Predoctoral Achievement Award. He is currently serving as technical committee member of IEEE MTT-S Quantum Information Systems and Applications Committee.
