Biography
Ahmed Ben Ayed (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering with a minor in mathematics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, in 2017, and the M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2019 and 2024, respectively.
His doctoral work advanced millimeter-wave and sub-terahertz communication systems, focusing on the development of advanced signal-processing techniques to enhance the performance and efficiency of high-frequency communication systems. His portfolio spans nonlinear modeling, advanced measurement methodologies, and innovative linearization techniques.
Dr. Ben Ayed is a member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) and has served as a Young Professional Affiliated Member of the MTT-S Technical Committee on Wireless Communications (TC-23) since 2023.
