Phase 3

/ Mission Continued /

For the third phase, IEEE MTT-Sat Challenge calls for demonstrators of technology readiness levels TRL4 to TRL5.

The deadline for proposals is September 30th, 2021.

The proposal must be based on the template provided here. Your proposal consists of two parts: (I) the proposal form and (II) an optional appendix, e. g., for quotes and detailed drawings. Proposals and appendices must be submitted in English. The project description (sections 1) and objectives and work program (section 2 of the proposal form) may not exceed twenty (20) pages in total.

The MTT-Sat Challenge is open to teams comprised of students from one university or more universities. Individual team members must be degree-seeking students, i.e., enrolled full-time or part-time in a degree program at a university, in any faculty, or department. For phase III, the team should consist of minimum five (5) students.

For your phase III proposal, please add detailed information on how the process towards launching your idea into space can look like. This factor will be considered during the evaluation of the proposals as well.

Detailed information can be found in the Call for Demonstrators and in the Proposal Template (PDF) or Proposal Template (DOCX).
