2023 APMC (Taipei, Taiwan), Dec. 7-8, 2023
The dynamic Inter-Society Technology Panel (ISTP) program, launched in 2021 by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) Inter-Society Committee, has become a beacon of multidisciplinary and cross-sectorial collaboration and cutting-edge exploration. This program, currently led by Drs. Ke Wu and J.-C. Chiao, seamlessly collaborated with the forward-thinking 2023 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC) steering committee to curate two exciting panels at APMC 2023 in Taipei, Taiwan.
Fueling the spirit of global cooperation, the ISTP program aspires to be more than just technical sessions; it is a catalyst for inspiring exchanges and visionary partnerships among members of MTT-S, other IEEE entities (societies and councils), and non-IEEE organizations. These meticulously crafted panels aim to facilitate discussions on cross-disciplinary research and development, involving academia, industry, standards, and commercial sectors in the context of emerging technologies and applications.
Working closely with Honorary Chair Dr. Ching-Kuang Clive Tzuang, Technical Program Chairs Drs. Chien-Nan Kuo and Pei-Ling Chi, and ISTP Panel Chair Dr. Chow-Yen Desmond Sim, the ISTP program was successfully held at APMC 2023 with two inaugural ISTP panels for APMC in Taipei, Taiwan.
