WPTCE 2023

In the framework of the Wireless Power Week, the first IEEE Wireless Power Technology Conference and Expo (WPTCE) will take place 4-8 June 2023, at San Diego, CA (https://ieee-wptce.org/). WPTCE integrates two prior co-located successful conferences: IEEE PELS Workshop on Emerging Technologies: Wireless Power (WoW) and IEEE MTT-S Wireless Power Transfer Conferences (WPTC). The conferences traditionally rotate between Europe, North America, and Asia. WPTCE is the largest wireless power transfer conference in the world, and it is financially and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S).

WPTCE2023 will bring experts from both academia and industry to cover a wide range of topics in wireless technologies across the electromagnetic spectrum. The event will feature high-quality technical sessions, keynote speeches, tutorials, workshops, student competitions, and industry exhibitions. The motivation is to promote research, education, and industry developments of wireless power technologies.

WPTCE is the only event entirely dedicated to wireless power technologies, covering research, education, and practical applications. In 2023, it will provide a unique opportunity for researchers and industry partners to interact with international experts in wireless power technologies. The expanded Expo, during the Wireless Power Week, will increase industry participation and enhance engagement between industry and students through the panels, workshops, PhD school, exhibition and technical sessions.
