IEEE MTT-S invites undergraduate and graduate students to apply for the MTT-S Ambassador Program, an initiative designed to empower students as local champions within the MTT-S community.
As an ambassador, you will receive funding and resources to organize impactful activities that drive membership growth, professional development, and technical engagement. This is a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, expand your professional network, and contribute to the advancement of microwave and millimeter-wave technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professional Development: Collaborate with universities, IEEE MTT-S Student Branches (SBs), IEEE sections, and local groups to host professional development events, networking sessions, and technical lectures.
- Conferences: Organize seminars, info sessions, and promotional activities to raise awareness of MTT-S conferences. Partner with regional non-MTT-S events for broader outreach.
- Mentorship: Support students and young professionals in technical competitions, scholarship applications, and society-specific mentorship programs.
- Technical Engagement: Work with YP regional coordinators and MTT-S affiliates to host hands-on industry workshops, training sessions, and technology-focused events.
- Marketing: Help disseminate MTT-S-specific information through various social media channels to reach a wider audience.
