Biography
Jason C. Soric has a PhD (2015) from the University of Texas at Austin in electromagnetics and has been a Principal Electrical Engineer with Raytheon since 2016. Dr. Soric has received numerous awards including 2024 Raytheon Quarterly Engineering Award, 2023 Critical Talent Award, 2022 Top 50 IEEE IMS Papers “A 100W W-Band GaN SSPA,” 2021 Best Paper Award Raytheon Multifunction RF Systems Symposium, and 2018 Raytheon company-wide IDEA Award. Dr. Soric has also received several IEEE AP-S student member awards and NRSM Travel Grants.
Dr. Soric has authored or co-authored over 40 international journal and conference papers and currently holds 11 patents. Dr. Soric was the 2019 and 2026 IEEE Microwave Magazine Guest Editor, has been a Raytheon advisory member for SRC JUMP, AFOSR, DoD, and Simons Collaboration. Dr. Soric is also an active reviewer of several high-impact journals and conferences including IEEE IMS.
