Biography

Hamhee Jeon (M’12–SM’17) is a Lead Engineer at L3Harris Technologies. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kwangwoon University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2006, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. From 2011 to 2012, he was an RF Design Engineer at TriQuint Semiconductor. From 2012 to 2025, he was a Principal Engineer and Member of Technical Staff at Qorvo.

Dr. Jeon’s research and professional interests include the design and development of highly efficient and linear RF power amplifiers and front-end modules using GaAs, CMOS, SOI, and integrated passive device (IPD) technologies. His expertise extends across RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave IC design up to 45 GHz, including Balanced and Load Modulation amplifiers, beamforming ICs for phased-array applications, and SOI-based RF integrated circuits such as switches, phase shifters, and digital step attenuators.

Dr. Jeon has also been an Adjunct Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, since 2021. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Microwave and Wireless Technology Letters and has served as a Guest Editor for the IEEE Microwave Magazine Special Issues on RWW 2025, 2026, and 2027. He is an active member of the IEEE and has been a Senior Member since 2017.
