“Women in Microwaves and Wireless” Special Session at the IEEE 2025 International Wireless Symposium

The 2025 IEEE MTT-S International Wireless Symposium (IWS) was held in Xi’an, China, from 19 to 22 May 2025. Along with the conference, a “Women in Microwaves and Wireless” special session, organized by the IWS organization committee and the Women in Microwaves (WiM) subcommittee, took place on the afternoon of 21 May. About 50 professionals, including two invited speakers and six panelists, joined the session focused on the topic of “AI and Microwave Engineering: Opportunities, Challenges, and Next Steps”. The session was divided into four parts—an opening remark, a Rising Star Award promotion, two technical presentations, and a panel discussion. .
